Since the introduction of the range of RF pinch valves we have seen great success in slurry applications throughout the mining industry; none more so than the success of the first 150mm valve installed on a platinum slurry line in August of 2007. This was a particularly troublesome application for our customer as they has tried numerous types of valves with the best lasting short of two months.
After a year the RF valves is still operating and the high performance sleeve has exceeded the expectations of the customer and as a result we have in the past month installed a further 14 valves in the same plant.
The success of the RF Valves can be attributed to the high performance elastomer sleeve which gives the valve a lifespan which exceeds our competitors by 8 times.
